STAUNTON, VA - The Mary Baldwin College cross country team has earned the title USTFCCCA Women's 2013 All-Academic team.  With a cumulative GPA of 3.57, the Fighting Squirrels are at the top of the Division III women's teams in the state of Viriginia.

The Johns Hopkins women's team, who were the NCAA Champions in 2013, earned the title USTFCCCA Scholar Team of the Year for the second year in a row.

Head Cross Country Coach and Athletic Director Sharon Spalding said, "I am pleased that our runners are also exceptional in the classroom.  The goal setting, time management, and daily planning certainly does flow both ways for these young women."
